Work
I don't like job titles. They often restrict us more than they benefit us. The closest description of what I'm doing would be a design engineer.
I excel most in:
1) Designing apps. Not just putting a bunch of UI components together like a lego set - actually thinking stuff through from 0 → 1.
2) Developing apps. I have 4+ years of Flutter experience. I know how to get stuff done efficiently and on a high level.
3) Growing & scaling apps. I would consider myself an ASO expert and know a ton of growth hacks.
Experience
I'm currently working at NEON, mainly on improving and scaling a big whitelabel app (multi-million ARR).
In the pre-AI era, I built about 20 apps as a freelancer. That included almost everything from idea validation to design, development, distribution and marketing.
Now I only freelance for a few selected clients, such as Charité and Philips.
Off Work
- I'm doing a B. Sc. UX Design, currently in 3rd semester
- I'm big into endurance sports. Mainly (ultra-)running and triathlon
- Sometimes I also participate in hackathons
- Occasionally I also check on my app Insect Check (also built during a hackathon)
